Research Topic: Effect of caffeic acid on chloramphenicol induced toxicity in rats.
In our Research study suggest that caffeic acid can protect the chlormphenicol induced toxicity in liver & kidney. This may attributed to the antiradical activity of caffeic acid by which inhibit the Lipid Peroxidation and enhance of antioxidant defense against chloramphenicol induced oxidative damage in tissues.
The various biochemical parameters were studied such as Hepatic Markers,
Renal Markers, Lipid Peroxidation Markers, Enzymic & and Non Enzymic Antioxidants were studied.
Worked as Research Assist. in Annamalai University, Chidambaram.
